In a recent Instagram post, popular American actor and singer Quincy Brown who has over 4million followers on Instagram posed in an original Lord EMH fedora hat which is fashion line created by Namibian entrepreneur and philanthropist Ennio Hamutenya.
“From and African village to the head of @quincy. Thank God” a caption read on the Hamutenya Instagram page.

According to the Lord EMH fashion brand, the hats all feature ‘the burn’, a unique trademark that Hamutenya has adopted as a way of differentiating the hats from other classic fedoras while symbolising the traditional Oshiwambo tradition of Ekala po lu pale.
This is a tradition that honours the alpha of the village or tribe by keeping the fire at the village lit at all times when the alpha male or female is present. This is a way of acknowledging the alpha’s power and presence.

Other famous Americans including P.Diddy and Amber Rose also wore and flaunted the hat in recent times.
