American rapper The Game recognises Phatboy Luthor

One of the hardest-hitting up and coming trappers, Phatboy Luthor recently received an appreciation DM from Jayceon Terrell Taylor, better known by his stage name the Game. The My Life singer’s DM was short and simple, writing “Yo, What up G, I see you puttin in work,” and Phatboy Lutor replying “Yeah G. This is an honour” outwardly surprised as to how Los Angeles finest with over 11 million followers actually recognised him.

Speaking to unwrap.online recently Phatboy says that he still cannot believe it. “The Game hit me up. I replied to his DM hours later after he sent it and he replied instantly. I was shook. Yes, we spoke, but I can’t disclose about what. I’m just really honoured. I’m still in disbelief, unbelievable,” Phatboy says.

Phatboy Lutor has been slowly creeping into the rap game as someone who is carving their own niche in the local and international scene with his refreshing vernacular sound. Asked about his latest project titled ‘Koning’ (meaning King in English) he says that the album title was inspired by his friend and producer who always called him King when he was younger.

“I was working on an EP, but then after I dropped my second single, I was just making so much music we went ahead and made an album,” he said. The album is currently only available in hard copies, but will be on streaming sites very soon and he says that he can’t freestyle he writes everything down and mashes it up.
