Actor and RnB musician Tyrese takes a trip down Namibian memory lane.
American actor and singer Tyrese this afternoon paid tribute to Anna Visser who is well known as Namibia’s oldest granny when he shared a video of his song that is titled Chapter 126.
In an expressive caption, the singer recalled Visser and what prompted him to write the song and record the song on an MPC3000.
” I was so convicted to in my spirit to send some love to the family of this woman who had outlived all her kids and grandchildren. Google it. It all happened in Namibia Africa, ” read his caption.
Tyrese met the late Visser in Namibia while shooting Flight of Pheonix. According to Nampa, the actor paid N$ 30 000 towards Visser’s funeral.
” Wish she could have let me in on some of her stories before
she passed away”.
Visser lived through both the German and South African occupations, including spending time in a German concentration
camp.
