AY4 does it for his glory

Gospel rapper, Adolf Kaure, commonly known as Ay4 released his second mixtape titled For His Glory.

The mixtape is made up of five tracks. The Swakopmund-based rapper explained why he chose to name the project For His Glory.

“I initially wanted to name the mixtape “Five Loaves” to depict how God has multiplied my ability and my talent – as illustrated in the bible by how Jesus multiplied the five loaves and two fish. However, while recording my first single of the mixtape, titled “Champion”, as Ally the Mini King pressed record for the intro of the song, the first words that came to mind were: For His Glory.”

“So I stuck with it as it is an EP aimed to share the gospel and Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) in order for more people to know Jesus Christ, receive salvation and serve Him as Born Again Christians,” he stated.

Although he has aspirations of producing an album in the near future, he says that he is working hard to get his latest single “Forever” out there.

“I want to make sure people hear the message from this mixtape, especially this track (Forever) which talks about eternal life.”

“I wanted to tell the world that everything whether it is good or bad is for His glory because He is God.”

He added that he is open to any artist who want Ay4 to collaborate with them on their track.

“I want to improve my craft, so I will keep writing and coming up with ideas, while I push “Forever”. I want to learn more about myself as an artist and see what my sound is, how I can evolve my voice and rapping skills as well as live a little as this will give me inspiration for more songs.”

The mixtape is available to be streamed and downloaded on Ay4’s Soundcloud, Reverbnation, Audiomack and YouTube channels. It can also be found on Donlu Africa and namibiamusic.com.
