By Foibe Shahepa

Voice Perfect Namibia proves to get bigger, better and entertaining with each season with the fifth, being a must-watch. The online singing series launched its first season in June 2020 to shape talented individuals from different backgrounds into artists and to create a competitive music platform. Till today, the brand continues to unravel the talented gems in Namibia.

Having been in operation for the past 4 four months, Voice Perfect Namibia launched an amazing beats and lyrics episode 5 of the semi-finals. In this episode, 15 artists are competing for the finale, and each will receive two different beats that will be one minute long.

One beat will be upbeat and the other beat will be slow.

The artists are expected to create their lyrics/composition to these beats and make it their own. According to Paul William Shipanga a 23-year-old medical student and a semi-finalist of the voice perfect Namibia singing competition said “This platform truly enabled me to grow as an artist, and it pushed me out of my comfort zone, ”she said.

“I’m humbled to be part of the top 15 competing for the top five final round. Voice perfect Namibia is a wonderful platform and hopefully, it will continue expanding in the following upcoming seasons,” said Paulina Shikongo.

Almost 50% of the artists continued protesting through their performances against sexual gender-based violence that has been on the rise in the past months in the country.

The judges include Lioness, Monique English and Chikune. The voting lines for the semi-finals to the voice perfect Namibia singing competition are officially open.
