We all love us some Blossom and when she posted about coming back home from China, we couldn’t help but scream in excitement. Blossom told Unwrap.online that she opted to go to China to expand her business market, all thanks to her NAMAs award.
“After my first record awards back at the NAMAs, I was able to finance my own trips overseas. I made trips to New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, and China. On my second trip here, I knew and decided that China would be ideal for my talent and business plans given its huge market and advancement,” she said.
Blossom has been busy in China which she reveals on her Instagram with her latest gig being at an expo. The songster says out of all the things she misses about being home is her mother’s food. She also says that it requires a lot of courage and strength to be based out of one’s comfort zone and country.
“Very challenging. I miss my mom’s food every day. I have to adapt culturally, emotionally and mentally. You have to have a strong will and face all odds. My vision keeps me achieving my goals one take at a time. You have to follow your heart and life map,” she said.
Despite the little homesickness, Blossom says the reception from the Chinese is overwhelming and it drives her.
“I love the response I got from the Chinese crowd at my performances at the China International Beauty Expo. It proved that exposing your talent beyond your local stage is worth a try, and may be well more rewarding than you had ever expected,” she said.
Blossom says she been away for six months and couldn’t stay away from Namibia anymore. She says she has a special surprise for her fans and thanked them for always supporting her. ” My gift package for my fans is a big surprise! In a few days time, I will share this exciting news with everybody. It will be personal & musical,” she says.I’ve been away for a good 6 months ( which feel like 6 years). I guess I love home too much to be away this long.
No place will ever take my beautiful home’s place ( kegumbo okegumbo).❤
