Boss Zonke hit maker Riky Rik dies

South African rapper Riky Rik has taken his own life, as reported by several South African media houses.


The artist’s last tweet at around 03:20 this morning reads: “I’ll return a stronger man. This land is still my home.”


News24 this morning confirmed that Muziwendlovu Makhado (34) has died and that his family is still meeting, and is expected to release a statement in due course.

The family spokesperson Sheikani Makhado confirmed his passing but could not divulge any further details.

“The family is still meeting, and we will release a statement in due course. We ask for your understanding.”
