Boxx Thrive opens Sound Wave Africa gates

It is safe to say that as from this coming weekend, the entertainment industry is in good hands thanks to Sound Wave Africa.

Sound Wave Africa an events and brand promotion platform creating musical shows and innovative events for the artistic expressive generation has set its eyes on Namibian artists and has also announced plans to revive the rundown Zoo park amphitheater to be used host monthly musical shows and events.

In a media statement issued by Salmi Shigwedha Sound Wave Africa public relations representative said they have already booked the amphitheater for one day every month to host musical an installation of Sound Wave featuring a different artist or musical group tasked to execute their own show during 2019.

“The concept behind Sound Wave is to select a different artist or group to host a show in partnership with Sound Wave Africa and the appropriate Namibian and international sponsors every month,” she said.

The selected artist or group will be at the forefront and also appear as the face of the show and will have authority to decide whom they want to feature during their shows.

The first Sound Wave event will be Boxx Thrive which will take place at the zoo park on Saturday 4 May and will be held in partnership with Blvc Boxx Entertainment which includes Topcheri, Tesh, Athawise, King Elegant, Princelou Faragama and the latest singing sensation to the team Slime.

The event is sponsored by Budweiser, Gweri Vintage Collection, Radio Energy, the Garden Inn, Simply You Magazine, Events Today and the Photobooth.

General tickets are available for N$50 from vending machines all over the country or online while VIP tickets will be at N$300 via www.eventstoday.com.na.
General tickets will be N$80 at the gate.
The show kicks off at 12H00 and will run until 23H00.
