While we’ve got some of our favorites dominating the charts, don’t let them sidetrack you from the emerging artists on the rise.
This coming artist is one that you can’t miss. Btu Booster is from Swakopmund, making music since he was a Kasie boy in 2012. His musical influence originated from the legends of late Mandoza and Qonja Ndakandaka.
“I’m not facing any obstruction so far,” Booster said. He further added that his fans are very broad, and he appreciates them, and they are more than welcome to get involved in his music career when it comes to sponsorships.
In 2012, he released his first single titled “Tifuka,” which even featured a music video that allowed him to do an interview that same year on NBC Whatagwan. In 2014, the second single titled “Ndimupule ft Alvin Kandume” was released, which also has a music video, and landed him on NBC Whatagwan for his second interview.
He joined the Checkmate Empire clothing brand and Perfect Purpose Media in 2019 which consists of photography and videography. They finished their debut album together, which was released in December 2019, and he called the album to come together.
He’s managed to accomplish a great project since working with others. So many people produced the album hence the title, come together. The producers are on the beat with M-jay, Dj Chronic, Andrew, Kele, Kinzzo, Gerg, and Dj Soon.
It has 13 tracks and track 4 has been his favorite by far-named “Ngono Othondoro.” This song “focuses mainly on the issues that occur every day in our society involving child abuse and abuse of women as well.” Said Booster.
