Budding designer living a dream

Budding fashion designer Ndaumba Elifas Shawapala (26) is now living his name, thanks to a chance to dress some of the country’s top selling artist despite being a new kid on the block.

Shawapala who fell in love with the fashion designing world while in acho said he has no regrets for following his passion as a career.

He said skirts, boobtubes , trousers and tops are few of his designs but he is still working on other new trends.
He said he is happy to nmbe making it in a matriarchal world of fashion.


“Exit, Bantu, king Gucci, Manxebe, Kaboy kamakili and Cassie Jessica are among the few Namibian celebrities I dressed, “he said.

The young designer added that his dream is to one day see his designs in retail and dress Nigerian popular musician Davido.
