Burna Boy #SaveTheDate announcement reactions

From fake news to real tears being spilt for being left out and genuine excitement, Namibians took to social media to express themselves on Burna Boy coming to the land of the brave.

It has only been a day since the news of Nigeria musician Burna Boy to tour in Namibia and so far, there has been massive reactions from the public. Some a funny, cringe-worthy whilst others are plain rude and quirky.

It was announced earlier last week that the Ye singer will be performing in Namibia on 20 April, an event organised by Mindscape Events and Play Network Africa. The organisers have informed the public that more information will be issued in due course and as early as this week.

Namibian’s have taken their reactions to the news to social media where some are happy to meet the icon and others including Namibian award-winning artist Exit shared grievance as he was not considered worthy to be part of the first Namibian artist lineup announcement or at all.

Here is what the public had to say about the news!
