CHRISTMAS WISHLIST: Artists to listen to this December

Nothing brings people more together than music, once the beat drops it’s followed by dancing, laughing, selfies and great times all provided by the artist behind the music. With that said, here are some albums released this year that’s guaranteed to bring those good times to your December. 

Kalux the superstar had recently released his top selling fifth album Graduation where Kalux features artists like Tate Buti, Lioness, Adora and more. Though still pending to be available online you can still get this album at Antonio Arts or have it delivered to you by contacting the number available on Kalux’s social media platforms to get a copy if you reside in Mariental, Kalkran, Rehooboth, Windhoek, Okahandja or Otjiwarongo. Get Graduation for now for N$150. 

House Guru Gang 
Afro-house music group House Guru Gang after releasing the track Bad Neighbors with Kwaito artist Ees has themselves released their fourth album, Bad Neighbors. The album truly proves why the duo won the 2017 NAMA’s for Best group/duo. The album is available on all online media apps. 


Monique English  
Back from her hiatus and ready to take the Namibia by storm, as she once did, is Monique English with her album Red. The album is around the theme of love and has some amazing features like KP Illest, Alta Ouses and Lioness to mention a few. The album is not available on online music apps as of yet but you can contact Monique English to get your hands on a hard copy for N$ 120 or visit Donlu. 


LadyMay Africa  
Previously known as just Lady May, LadyMay Africa has officially debuted with her gospel album, Unbroken. The same beautiful voice gives us a more meaningful track with this long-anticipated album. Unbroken is available countrywide and can get your very own copy by contacting the numbers available on the artist’s social media platform.  


Truly one of the biggest duos in Namibia are the Tswazis being in the industry for over eight years so far and still making our jaws drop with their vibrant stage performances. The duo had earlier this year released their fourth album Critical But Stable which is available at all local music retailer shops in Namibia. 


Sally Boss Madam 
Sally Boss Madam’s Lucky Girl album has been long awaited by fans not only for the artists she worked with on the album which are Skrypt, King Elegant and Don Kamati but it’s an album the artist had said she freely speaks her mind in and let her creativity flow freely. The album is available on store.cdbaby.com for N$ 146.25. 


One of the latest albums is Exit’s own The Last Supper which had positive reviews from fans. Deeming it as a must listen and proving that the Kwaito and Hip-Hop artist is no artist to be taken lightly. The album is available on donluafrica for N$ 150. 

2019 NAMA’s Best Album of The Year and Best Newcomer awards winner is always living up to her stage name by staying in the top spot. TopCheri continues to do so with her recently released her album Matrimony. The album is available on all online media apps and still pending to be out on hard copies are coming soon according to the artist. 


Known to fans as always releasing bangers is Dixon and to show appreciation to his fans the artist had earlier this year released fifth album Show Me Your Heart. The 15-track album according to the artist I available in stores.

Sunny Boy 
Hip hop and Kwaito Sunny Boy has also earlier this year released his seventh studio album, Uuyelele. The album is what fans and Sunny Boy have all agreed is one where the artist shows maturity, the album was done with time for absolute perfect and where the artist opened up more. This album can be courier countrywide by contacting the number available on the artist social media platforms. 


Proving that she isn’t all business, the once Best Female Award Winner Blossom has dropped her album Uvandje. The album which the artist descibed as “Romantic, Mesmerizing, Enticing & Exciting!” Uvandja has 20 amazing tracks and is available by delivery if one is in Windhoek.  

Alta Ouses 
The Queen of soul music Alta Ouses has finally debuted with her 13 tracked album Eish, LOVE. The album is around the theme of love but if you want to get you girl power flowing this is the album for you as the artist has said the album is about women empowerment. The album is out and available so contact Alta Ouses on her Instagram to get your hands on a copy.  

DJ Castro 
Another artist which debuted this year with an album worth beholding as he featured artist such as s Sunny Boy, Lioness, Jermaine Casper, DJ Dreas, Sally Boss Madam to name a few. DJ Castro’s Evolution album has 13 tracks and is available at Antonio’s Art as well as all online music apps. 


KP Illest  
Rapper KP Illest’s second album Faith and Favours is an album that made waves on social media this year. After two-year await the best rap/hip-hop award winner of 2018, had recently dropped the 13 tracked album which is available on all online music apps.  

Artist Jayson dropped his 13-tracked album Break Time Is Over recently. The album has some amazing features such as Young T and King Tee Dee to mention a few. Get this album at Donlu and according to the artist the hard copies will be available soon.
