Comedian Tapiwa acts in plumbing advert

From stand-up comedy to straight up acting and killing it

Tapiwa is surely getting out of his comfort zone and expanding his horizons this year. The renowned comedian’s latest project involves him acting in Amalgamated Plumbing’s advert.

“They are biggest plumbing company in Namibia and I starred in their new hilarious commercial, which is part of me broadening my horizons by expanding into more than just stand-up but venturing into acting, film and directing,” said the excited star.

The commercial which was shot by Hashtag Media promotes the plumbing company’s state-of-the-art leak detection technology. In the funny advert, Tapiwa, a flashy homeowner gets his water bill and is surprised by the high amount he is charged with. Determined to do something about it, he hires a plumber to detect the possible leak but he dismally fails. Finally, an Amalagamated plumber comes to his rescue, saving the day.
