Crowning Miss Okahandja Tourism next weekend

If you are finding yourself in Okahandja next week, you are in for a good treat because you can witness who gets to walk away with the title Miss Okahandja Tourism and Trade Expo.

The main aim of Miss Okahandja Tourism and Trade Expo is to recognize charismatic and talented young women in Okahandja and boost their modeling proficiency.

The other areas that the event focuses are on building social skills for the participating queens and promoting cleanliness of the town of Okahandja.

The event will also help build self-esteem, help them in public speaking and make them more aware of who they are, what they really think, and what works for them stylistically and cosmetically in their future planning. The finalists will raise awareness about a clean community and work together with the community to clean up Okahandja. The pageant will furthermore help the youth to get involved in other activities and projects in Okahandja,” said Sandro Ithana the organizer.

The event on 3 May will start at 18H00 at Okahandja Park Sports Field in Okahandja with a performance by various Local artists. The damage at the event is N$ 10.00 for Kids and N$ 20.00 for Adults. Miss Okahandja Tourism and Trade Expo 2018 Katuu Ujava will be crowning the winner of Miss Okahandja Tourism and TradeExpo 2019, other winners of last year include 1st Edwig Haipinge, 2nd Princess: Hileni Andimba.
