Diamond releases own version of One I Love, excluding King Tee Dee

“King Tee Dee is aware of the version. You can enjoy both songs,” Diamond Platnumz Management.

The biggest collaboration of the first half of the year in Namibia so far is of King Tee Dee featuring international award-winning artist Diamond Platinumz titled One I Love.

It was quite shocking when we got to see the official video released by Diamond Platnumz which has no verse or visuals of the Namibian star. Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz’s team however cleared the air stating that there is no bad blood and everything has been done according to contractual agreements. Diamond Platinumz management told unwrap.online that both artists have the right to do what they will with the song, as long as the producer is on board.

“He (King Tee Dee) owns his version and we own our version. If anyone who wants to re-do it the song has to contact Lizer Classic the producer who made the beat.
King Tee Dee is aware of our version too,” said Diamond Platnumz management.

The version featuring King Tee Dee is titled One I Love was released on Valentine’s Day and since its release, the song has topped iTunes charts as number 1.

Diamond Platnumz version which is titled The One has him singing his verse which is the same as in the one in the version with King Tee Dee including this line in Oshiwambo ondikuhole. The video was shot by director Kenny from Zoom Production. The areas covered in the video are found in Morogoro, Bagamoyo and Tanga Magoroto (Tanzania).

King Tee Dee is yet to say anything about the new release.
