DJ Alba Nalo excited to release her debut single

You know not to expect anything less from DJ Alba Nalo when she gets her mind to something. The DJ who has made her mark in the music industry as one of the first female DJ’s to take a stand in the male dominated industry has officially started counting down her debut single release.

DJ Alba Nalo posted her single’s artwork on her Instagram page which was received well by her fans that all seem to want the song to drop already. The single titled Cymatix is produced by her and award winning DJ Kboz.


While on Twitter, DJ Alba Nalo shared her emotions saying that she both excited and soo nervous at the same time. She also revealed more information regarding the song.

Fellow artists including King TeeDee and Same Lee Jones showed support to DJ Alba Nalo’s upcoming work with Sam -E Lee Jones saying he is super proud of her and that she must keep experimenting as well as making more music.

DJ Alba Nalo’s journey in the music industry started when she got a DJ software from her friends computer and taught herself how to mix. Today, she forms part of duo group the Afroberries, has won awards, performed at prestigious and high end Namibian calendar events and also hosted master classes for aspiring female DJs. Last year, she was selected by British Council to be a mentor facilitator DJ in an initiative that is meant to empower females in the African DJ industry. She is also the founder of House of Nalo accessories well known for making bracelets and neck pieces.
