DJ Castro targets South Africa and beyond and we stan!
The young and ambitious award winning DJ Castro who is also fairly new in the industry has great music popping and it seems like he wants to start with South Africa, especially Cassper Nyovest and fellow DJ Maphorisa.
He recently revealed that he would love to make a hit song with the well known South Africa’s Cassper and Maphorisa. “ I have been following them for the rest of my life and with Maphorisa, we have a good quality relationship and he is one of our friends and close to my manager, this will be a dream come true for me.” He told unwrap.online.
He further stated that he does not want this for fame or to gain followers as it seems with other entertainers but to give a bigger image to the brand especially in Namibia. He believes that Namibia has great talents to offer the world and going international is the beginning. His aim is to put Namibia in the map of the world when it comes to music. “ We are trying to break this rule that Namibian DJs can’t do anything. “ he said.
Castro envisioned himself becoming great in 5 years time, living in Spain and getting booked constantly by Ibiza. He has played his DJ role in countries such as Angola and South Africa and would like to do much more. Currently, he is the first youngest DJ to become an ambassador for Coke energy drink.
