A Namibian storm hit Durban July for the second time and it destroyed everything, again!
He is one of the few that have lucky stars to count because they are really shining where they need to. DJ Desertstorm had the chance of performing at the biggest horse racing event that is hosted annually in Durban. speaking on how his gig was, the DJ who is set to release his album soon said it was worthwhile.
“I enjoyed every moment. It was a good platform for Namibian DJs to put themselves on the map compared to South Africans who have means to market yourself,” he said.
DJ Desertstorm who isn’t new to the Durban July event says he learned a lot but at the same time, he had fun too. He says networking is the best thing that can come out of the event as he got to mingle with the DJs and artists which is great not only for his brand but for Namibia too.
“DJing at Durban July was great and I honestly urge Namibian artists and DJs that are really trying to grow their brand to take time and money and invest it things like this. We have all to start somewhere and platforms like Durban July are worth it,” he said.
