DJ Dreas kicks it with Busiswa on #5MinFinesse

She has been coming through since the second season of Namibia’s most loved online show and finally, it all came true in the wee hours of Thursday, 14 May 2020.

The South African hitmaker gave an audience of over 1222 people a verse from her music titled For the Culture before she had a chat with the host, DJ Dreas. Busiswa who is not new to the Namibian industry, on the show, revealed that she has been working on new material during the lockdown which she will be dropping within the next few months.

Having had much fun on the show, Busiswa thanked the hosts for the platform that gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their talent. The singer who has a hit song with award-wining artist Sally Boss Mada Bim Bim also shared her love for the land of the brave saying that she can’t wait to be back.

“ I appreciate the love from Namibia. I have been to many places in Namibia including Otjiwarongo. I appreciate you so much my brother Namibia is getting places through people like you. I would in fact like to have a Namibian name,” she said.

5MinFinesse is a platform for rappers, particularly up and coming, a showcase their talents.

“We have artists from all over the country choose a beat and finesse (rap spontaneously and come prepared too). The aim is to support the artists and their talents and so far it has just done that,” said DJ Dreas.

The show takes place every night from midnight on DJ Dreas Instagram page.
