Turn table wizard and music producer DJ Dreas has described his recent experience in South Africa were he performed at Bush Radio and rubbed shoulders with legendary Black Coffee as a worthwhile experience.
Having established himself as a heavyweight in the Namibian industry over the past year, he is already setting his sights on the international scene. While in the mother city he also performed at Euphonik’s clothing shop “Yawa Africa” and at the ever vibrant spot “Unfiltered” .
In a statement, the young DJ said:
“Since the start of my career, I’ve always dreamt of having to show the world what
I am about, that is what fuels my drive. I have a great desire of taking people on musical journey’s and I always wanted to spread that feeling across nations. Having gigs in
South Africa is a huge step in my career, as it indicates that I am ready to go out there and showcase my art.”
On how the performances went: “amazing, I’ve graced so many stages with so many crowds but the unfiltered set was right up there as one of my best sets ever. The love they gave a
stranger from another country was beautiful. ”
The UMB Academy artist has had an amazing start to 2020, working with big brands like Standard Bank and being featured on Redbull.com, Fly West Air Magazine and representing the country on an international level.
