DJ Siya to release latest album

By Priscilla Mukokobi

Popular musician and turntable Disc Jockey, DJ Siya will soon be releasing another jam-packed album featuring Mercy Makale from Zambia.
In what has become a norm to work with Zambians for the Kabunya hitmaker, Alexander Siyaya Sikalimbu better know as DJ Siya said he is putting final touches to his new album titled Zamaya loosely translated to walking in his silozi vernacular.

“It will be included in my album which is due in September/October hopefully. For now, I’m trying to work on my album,” he said.

DJ Siya said it has not been easy staying afloat for many artists because of COVID19 which eroded any income and also stopped performances.

“I advise the artists not to give on something that they love despite the challenges. Keep on pushing your work, no one should tell you, you can’t do it we all started somewhere and with time things will work. Put everything in God’s hands,” he said.
