DJ Spuzza ropes in AKA for Soek Soek remix

The latter part of this year could signal the rebirth of Soek Soek after DJ Spuzza scored a remix with South African superstar AKA.

Soek Soek, which is an Amapiano song was released earlier this year and its popularity is set to rise even higher as AKA is also set to jet in the country to shoot a music video for the same song.

The AKA collabo has set NamTwittwer abuzz.

Signed under new management Remember The Eagle owned by creative Ennio Hamutenya, DJ Spuzza also jumped on the social media excitement wagon, sharing a video of him on a call with the South African star.

When called for a comment, DJ Spuzza was rather dismissive playing down the supposed big deal.

“No comment. I don’t like talking about my business like that. I don’t know when it (song) will drop,” a rather arrogant DJ Spuzza said.

Hamutenya also shared the same sentiments, saying that all details will be revealed in due course.

As soon as the news broke, which was also confirmed by AKA, Namibians on Twitter started tagging Cassper Nyovest and asking him why he doesn’t feature Namibian musicians.

Cassper has performed more in Namibia compared to AKA. Several Namibians have also regularly crossed the border to attend Cassper’s Fill Up concerts.

The 2020 NAMAa nominated Soek Soek currently has over 490k views on Youtube. It features Chester the House Prince, Don Kamati, Mega and Chakie.
