On April the 29th, the Entrepreneurship Hub Dololo/DoBox is opening its doors for the first time for a very special event called DoMusic; a fusion of music and tech. This event aims to showcase talented performers with the vibrant business community of Windhoek. The DoBox team has invited performer RÖMI, an award winning Hip Hop artist, to perform before a small, exclusive audience.
“When the DoBox team approached me and asked whether I wanted to perform and do an unplugged concert in such an unusual setting, I immediately said YES! I’ve always loved when things that are not necessarily thought to belong together, merge: It brings out innovation; creates magic! As such, I strongly believe, especially in these days, Windhoek needs a lot more of that. I’ve always worked interdisciplinary and believed that we need to create more synergies and form unusual partnerships in order to move forward. I cannot wait to play at DoBox,” she said.
“Our vision is to create a community of people from across different disciplines that share an ambitious, but simple common goal: A better Namibia. Therefore, we want to provide a platform for innovative people with high aspirations to meet, be inspired and share ideas – on the creative side as much as on the business side.” Chantal Claassen, Co-founder of Dololo commented.
Dololo’s vision is to be the epicenter of Namibia’s business ecosystem by empowering young entrepreneurs and connecting them to corporates and investors to solve real world problems together. They offer co-working, networking events; digital training and workshops at the DoBox as well as project management for Start-up competitions and corporate innovation programs with their consulting arm Dololo Operations Pty (Ltd).
