EES lands to a cleaning spree

Known for being in the forefront of tidiness, EES practices what he preaches on his Instagram.

Awarding winning artist Eric Sell also known as EES has just landed back in Namibia from a long stay in Germany. The singer who shared snaps of his day since flying back with Air Namibia on Instagram showed his fans things he loved about and what displeased him, litter.

EES who had just won the German X Factor talent show began by attempting to start his minibus which he referred to as his baby. The kwaito star eventually managed to get his baby going after several attempts.

He continued with his errands which included picking up his latest EES branded t-shirts from the printers and getting a bottle of his Vuma energy drink whilst showing off the new labels on the bottle.

As the day went by, EES ‘suddenly’ finds himself out of town and on the road to an unknown destination. The singer’s jolly mood has since changed as him and his travel company; his mother and grandmother notice a lot of trash along the road.

“It’s very sad that Namibians don’t know how to throw away their stuff. Every time it’s the same thing,” said the singer.

The family goes on a cleaning spree and within 10 minutes, they managed to collect over three bags of trash. He then continues to say that it’s important to have good role models, referring to his mother and grandmother who lead by example.

“This is unacceptable. Let’s make cleaning up cool. If you see anybody dropping anything that is not in the dustbin, speak up, even if you have to pick it up yourself. I have had to pick up so many things when people didn’t want to clean up after themselves. We are going to make cleaning up cool,” he concluded.

Be cool like EES and help make Namibia better. Yes-Ja!
