Effy confirms that his third album is in progress

2019 is shaping up to be the best year for music in Namibia and here is why.

Effy’s preparing to drop his third studio album and here is what we know so far! The gospel artist who released his first body of work in 2016 titled God’s Favorite Son has revealed that he is preparing his third album. The news that was announced in a Facebook status had his fans happy and this could due to the fact that his last album was released in 2017, titled Forgiven.

Effy whose real name is Ephraim Sanyime will be working with Araffath for the third time as he had worked on the previous albums. According to Effy, he prefers Araffath because of his work ethic and creativity.

“He has a unique sound that authentic and Namibian as a hip hop artist it’s easy to get lost with the trend and sound American or South African and Rob yourself of your uniqueness. Araffath knows how to bring out authenticity out of an artist and make you different and relatable to your target market,” he said.

Effy says this album will have more collaborations compared to the previous two. One of the confirmed collaborations will be with Jericho, and he says the song is crazy.

“I’m also looking to work with my friend Suzy Eises on this one and Lady May Africa. So I’m just looking at expanding myself as an artist,” he said.

Effy says his fans will be given appetizers including two videos and a single in May from the upcoming album.
