Writer, Poet, Presenter and business woman Dr. Esperance Luvindao, travelling overseas for a live performance in the United States.
Luvindo is definitely no overnight success story but living proof that hard work and perseverance really pay off. The 2016 Miss Grand Namibia has thus far since she’s released her debut poetry album titled ‘Etha’ in 2018 became the very first poet in Namibia to drop a spoken word album and performed live in Zimbabwe at the SDG YOUTH Summit.
Now to top it all of the poet sets to travel to the United States for the UJIMA: Poetry Reading and Panel Discussion that’s to take place on 25 October with other poets. Poets at the event will share original work and participate in a discussion lead by a moderator to explore art and liberation within the African Diaspora.
“This is going to be my biggest platform thus far,” said Luvindao.
The two-day event will first have poetry reading from poets from New York City, Haiti and Nambian’s every own Dr. Esperance Luvindao, than followed by a panel discussion. It will take place in Cleveland from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM EDT with tickets costing $12.50 (N$ 177.60) at eventbrite.com.
