Fernando Tafish reporting the Envirocomedy news

Local comedian Fernando Tafish patrols the streets to find the answer to which planet Namibia is located on.

As of recent Fernando Tafish has launched a traveling show with EduVenture titled ‘Envirocomedy’ with the aim to create awareness about environmental issues and how together we can solve them, incorporating it all with, of course, a sprinkle of comedy. The show entitled EnviroComedy Festival has already made appearances in Rundu and Oshakati and last recently at the National Theatre of Namibia in Windhoek.

With in association n with the Envirocomedy, the comic, armed with a microphone has been around Namibia asking the country’s citizens a question that proved to be of examination level, “On what planet is Namibia??” the answers to the question have had viewers in an uproar. But the show does not end there as more videos will be coming soon according to a video posted by Filipe on his social media account.

Fernando Filipe also popularly known as Fernando Tafish is a Luanda-born comic and one of the most recognised names when it comes to comedy. The comedian has done well for himself as in 2017 he was nominated for the Savannah Comics Choice Awards in Johannesburg, as the Best Pan African Comedian of the Year and has performed on the same stage with big comedian stars in Africa like Basket Mouth from Nigeria and Salvador from Uganda.
