First lady impressed by Kasi Vibe Festival

The first lady of Namibia shows support to youth development and empowerment the recently ended Kasi Vibe Festival.

The past weekend all roads lead to the Sam Nujoma stadium where people from near and far came in numbers to support Namibian entrepreneurs. Among the attendants was Namibia’s first lady Monica Geingos who applauded the event organizers for the initiative.

The first lady had the opportunity to experience first hand the entrepreneurial side of the Namibian youth as well as to engage with the. she also had the opportunity to meet the youth that she often engages with on social media.

On her twitter, Geingos said that Kasi VibeFestival is what happens when the shift in customer interests and spending patterns are ignored.

A few of the youth who had the chance to engage with the first lady said meeting her was one of the highlights of the event.

Others also found humor in some pictures that where taken at the festival and turned them into memes.
