Funds hinder Mr Gay Namibia to compete in Mr Gay World 2022

Founder of Mr Gay Namibia Wendelinus Hamutenya has recently announced that newly crowned Mr Gay Namibia Daniel Lazarus will not be competing in the upcoming Mr Gay World competition which is slated for 15 October 2022.

He said that there just was not enough time to prepare or raise funds for the event.

“Mr Gay Namibia is a non-profit organisation and therefore provision for this in the international pageant was not made before hence any event of this calibre that is Mr Gay World takes atleast one month to prepare,

but now we only have days which was unfortunate. We are sure that for the 2023 World pageant we will be able to send Mr Gay Namibia 2022 to represent the country. Hamutenya said.
