Many fans of the legendary Rhumba musician Koffi Olomide can expect the best of what Namibia’s top acts have to offer on 22 October in Windhoek.
The likes of Top Cheri, Twasiz, King Tee Dee, TateButi, Dj Vuyo, Dj Siya, PDK and 4×4 Too Much Power will be setting the stage alight with electrifying performances before Olomide and his band take over.
The African icon recently also posted a video of himself expressing his excitement to perform in Namibia once again.
“I am very happy that 22 October l will be performing in Namibia at the Independence Stadium, l am so excited and l cannot wait to be with you. I have not been performing for you for many years and this time l am coming to you.
“I am excited, beautiful boys and girls from Namibia please come and meet me at the Independence stadium at Sam Nujoma. I love you Namibia and l will see you there please come in great numbers,” he said.
According to a press statement released by the organizers of the event Nani Trading, the show is meant to bring old and young fans of the legend together.
“We are excited to experience his life band from his skilful 25 member team comprising of his best dancers on stage with heated waist dancing skills. The program is starting at 13h00 up until midnight. We are expecting him to unite the crowd with his music that speaks both to young and matured age people. The legend is not only a good dancer but a composer and a producer at the same time. So expect to experience some skillful dancing,” the statement read.
The tickets of the veteran singer are available at Web tickets starting from N$300 for early bird, N$350 general, N$600 Golden circle, N$1500 VIP and N$3000 VVIP. Certain benefits will be provided depending on the ticket one buys. VIP ticket holders will have welcoming cocktails and seating arrangements closer to the stage. VVIP ticket holders will have a dedicated waiter and access to very tight security.
