High school dance off deadline nears

a call for high school learners to submit entities for the biggest high school dance off.

High school dance enthusiasts have until Thursday to submit their entries to represent their school at the most anticipated social event of the year. The dance off hosted by Renewed Youth Organization (RYO) aims to empower and inspire our future leaders through something they love doing.

“We are using the artwork of dance as a platform to pull in the youth. During the duration of the competition we will be doing different programs namely visiting different shelters, youth seminars just to mention a few. We need to make our Youth aware of the different issues facing our country,” said Liezel Ndjaronguru the founder.

Entries for dance off close 28 February and auditions start 5 March at the different schools. There is a maximum of five entries per school and one of them gets to go through to semifinals and finals to represent their school. The winning group or school walks away with N$ 10 000 where 50% is for the group and the other 50% goes to the school.

Entry forms can be found at schools.
