The festive season has officially kick-started and there’s no doubt about it. People are already attending events and functions with family and friends creating beautiful memories together.
No matter where you find yourself this holiday, Walvis Bay and Swakopmund are the top-notch places to visit this holiday. Both coastal towns will be hosting one of the biggest events ever to take place in Namibia. Everyone will be making their way to Walvis Bay to attend the second edition of Coastal Fiesta at the Kuisebmund Stadium. This festival is aimed at supporting local SME’s in Walvis Bay as well as giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to sell their products to the people, with the same energy allowing everyone to have lots of fun.
The two-day event will have an amazing line up of performances as well, the likes of Dj Waxxa, Dj Castro, Dj Rodney as well as the “Soek Soek” hitmaker Dj Spuzza will be keeping everyone on their feet throughout the day. Food and beverage stalls will also be available and the organizers promised it to be bigger and better this year.
Then as from the 20 to 26 December, you will be of witness to the first ever Desert Festival in Walvis Bay. It is a 6 day SME market that will take place at the Kuisebmund stadium with 40 live djs and an amazing line up of performances keeping everyone on their feet during the whole week. The event will be filled with a lot of activities, Miss Summer beauty pageant, a colour party, a dancing competition and many more. Food and bevarage stalls will also be available hope you already got your tickets and money ready.
FMF Swakopmund festival will be taking place in the beautiful town of Swakopmund at the Venita sports field on the 31 December, the new year edition. The event will be filled with a lot of fun as well and if you’d want to know more, don’t hestitate to visit their Instagram page.
