Namibian hip hop sensation Emmanuel Rose just release his EP titled ’27,’ a project that holds special significance to the artist.
In a recent interview with unwrap.online Rose shared details about the EP, his growth as a musician, and his plans for the future.The EP’s title, ’27,’ holds a personal connection to Emmanuel Rose.
“I titled my new EP 27 because I made the three songs that are on it two days after my 27th birthday, on the 21st of February.” He explained.
The EP came about as a result of Rose’s desire to have some fun after wrapping up recording on his official projects for the year. What initially started as a casual endeavor quickly turned into a significant milestone. Rose sees ’27’ as a warm-up to the trilogy of EPs he has in the works.
When asked about his musical growth over the years, Emmanuel Rose acknowledged the impact of working on himself and his craft consistently. He believes his continuous evolution as an artist stems from his pursuit of capturing the sound he envisions in his head.
“There is a way that I hear music in my head, and I still haven’t figured out a way to make my music sound the way I hear it in my head. So that’s what I’m trying to accomplish, and that’s what keeps me elevating,” Rose explained.

Emmanuel Rose was asked to share advice for aspiring artists looking to follow in his footsteps.
“No one can get like me. But all artists should just be themselves and keep elevating that.” He said.

“My trilogy of EPs, ‘WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING,’ ‘FLOWER BOY,’ and ‘TRACKS IS JUMPIN’,’ that’s what’s next! Pretty music all year!!” he exclaimed.
