Instagram DMs open Nigerian doors for Kalux

Kalux shares how Nigerian collabo with Cheeky Chezzy happened

Namibian Male Artist of the Year Kalux has his eyes beyond the Namibian boarders and is expanding his horizons. This ambition is visible in his track featuring Cheeky Chezzy, Nigerian D’banj’s music producer.

Chisom Ifeachor, better known as Cheeky Cheezy worked with Kalux on track two in the latest album titled Flight and the song has been receiving much love both in and out of the country. Kalux shared how he managed to get the song done saying that it happened by chance, on Instagram

“We linked up on Instagram and we spoke. I made the song, sent it to him and they later called me saying that they loved it,” said the superstar

Kalux further said working with Cheeky Chezzy was a learning moment and he definitely took a pointer or two.

“It’s a good start and working with him was great for me. I am targeting the whole African industry and I would love to make it out there especially the Nigerian industry because they are doing well so far,” he said.

Talks of shooting the video are already happening and South Africa seems to be the chosen location.

“They happened to be in South Africa when they called me so we will shoot there. It will definitely happen before my birthday this year which is on 21 June,” he said.

Keep an eye out for oga Kalux, big things are coming now.
