Renowned choreographer June announced that she will be launching her musical career starting today with her single Minika which when translated means Salute. According to the joyful dancer, singing has always been a passion of hers however self-doubt delayed her career kickoff, until now.
” I have always wanted to do music, fun songs that I can relate to but I tended to get shy and scared. I mean what if people don’t like my voice or my new career choice?”

Today, with the inspiration of Namibian sounds from Onderera and Oskuturu, the world gets to hear her single produced by Glo which she describes as a fun song.
” It’s really just a fun song. I’m looking at venturing in House/Amapiano so more sounds like such are to be heard from me. It’s a song to listen and to dance to,” said June.
The choreographer says she has a lot in store with regards to her new ventures. Asked if this is the what her fans should expect from her, she says when it comes to music only time will tell as shes in between two passions.
