Katutura Fashion Week kick starts today

KFW officially kick starts today with exhibition stalls

On the 26-28 September KFW will be paying homage to Namibian men and women who have worked hard in the fashion industry.

KFW is all about uniting the Namibian people ” we should work together and continue building the fashion industry in Namibia” says founder of KFW, Dennis Hendricks. According to the ever so cool brand ambassador of the KFW Prisca Vangi and Dennis Hendricks, the fashion week is a big platform created to embrace our people and it caters all 14 regions in Namibia.

” KFW is different from any other fashion week ever held in Namibia in the sense that it creates a platform for aspiring models and not only focuses on certain people. There’s no favoritism and it’s open to everyone regarding one’s inabilities, ” says Prisca Vangi.

“KFW is the first fashion event to have ever caught the attention of government officials,” says Dennis Hendricks. The KFW runway show will take place tomorrow at the Katutura Community Arts with the likes of Blink Duncan Kanyembo from Zambia showcasing and a performance by Emvee K. KFW Award ceremony will take place at the National Independence Memorial Museum Restaurant this coming Saturday as well.Cheers to KFW for pushing the fashion boundaries in Namibia, don’t forget to get your tickets now or you will be left out to one of the memorable events ever held in Namibia.
