Keeping up with Miss Namibia and her princesses

From receiving their royalties and visiting orphanages, Miss Namibia 2019 are doing just fine.

Since their crowning, Miss Namibia and her princesses have settled into their roles and have kick started their reign. The Miss Namibia organization too has been doing their utmost best in updating the nation with all the royalties the crown holder Nadja Breytenbach and her runner-ups have been receiving from various sponsors.

This an extra effort made by the organization right after Selma Kamanya (Miss Namibia 2018) voiced out about her experiences during her reign. So far Nadja Breytenbach received her official car as Miss Namibia 2019 from Pupkewitztoyota, she and her princesses also got a getaway trip sponsored by NWR(Namibia Wildlife Resort) as well as N$ 30 000 from NambRe.

Recently in the presence of Chief Commercial officer and judge of Miss Namibia 2019 Umbi Karuaihe- Upi, Miss Namibia first runner up Julita-Kitwe Mbangula second runner up Johanna Swartbooi and the queen Nadja Breytenbach received sponsored flying miles their from the nation’s carrier, Air Namibia ranging from N$50 000 for Miss Namibia N$30 000 for Julita-Kitwe Mbangula and N$20 000 for Johanna Swartbooi.

Nadja Breytenbach is set to prepare herself for the Miss World pageant which will take place on 11 December in London, with the training she will be receiving from the pageant guru Michelle McLean.

Yesterday I had the privilege to visit Side By Side Early Intervention Center as well as Hope Village together with Michelle McLean and Standard Bank who are The sponsors of the Women of Excellence Award. Side By Side operates as a day care and early intervention centre for families of children with special needs in a very poor community. Their mission is to provide early childhood development in children with special needs, to train parents as well as the community and caregivers. The disabilities that Side By Side works with are: – Autism – Cerebral Palsy – Brain damage – Down Syndrome – Hydrocephalus – Developmental Delays Hope Village was incorporated by Pastor Mariejtie de Klerk in 2004 with the aim to help children who are victims of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Hope Village goes beyond providing food and a bed; the children are growing up in a warm and loving environment with lots of personal attention to their development and wellbeing. One of the most beautiful things of Hope Village is that they are also taking care of the future of the children. The children can stay in Hope Village until they go to University, or when they find a job or get married. Huipie Van Wyk from Side By Side as well as Mariejtie de Klerk both won the Women of Excellence Award for a reason. I truly admire their pure passion and love for what they do! You are a true inspiration. Thank you! N. #missnamibia #missnamibia2019 #charity #charitywork #inspiration #namibia #beingnadja #nadjabreytenbach #hope #hopevillage #sidebyside
