King Elegant and Ronaldo the Violinists hit fans with mental health facts

Artists speak on mental health issues and urge the public to fight against mental health stigma.

Entertainers Ronaldo the Violinist and King Elegant have made it a point to invite their fans to a health event not only for the entertainment but to make an impact in society. The two will be performing at the up and coming Revive my Mind event took to their social media platforms urging the public to attend the unveiling and fundraising event to get those that need help to get it.

” Mental health stigmatization is undoubtedly a reality, affecting the lives of people with mental health illnesses as well as those around them. It is such a neglected a field and I’m all for this, let’s revive our minds by supporting this great initiative to help locate and get people treated! Depression and other mental health illnesses are real and as a public figure, I’m honored to be performing at this event,” said King Elegant.

Ronaldo the Violinist took to his story, saying he too is proud to be part of the initiative that is ready to take on the world of mental health and reducing the stigma associated with it.

Revive My Mind is a mental health organization aimed for awareness, outreach programs, and mobile mental health clinic services founded by Alma Negonga.

The fundraising event is aimed to gather funds to start running all their projects and programs. A range of speakers from a specialist psychiatrist, social workers, mental health activists and the deputy director of the office of the First Lady to give their take on mental health issues. Tickets are available on Events Today for N$ 50.
