Kid OG is the new kid on the block

By Emilie Shimbali

Kid O.G, a musician from Ohalushu, which is in the north of the country is preparing to burst onto the scene at the end of this month with his latest EP.

The upcoming rapper says that he does not play with what he can do better than anyone else, this EP finds him blending trap music with culture and gospel. He crafts engrossing lyrics in which his unique art will entice the listener’s ears.

Kid O.G  collaborated with his longtime associates, Vikta Juice boy, T.A Black, Zamah_zamah and The  Last Alien on this EP. He says that visuals for this EP is will be released in a short while.

He also emphasized that  art is hope and is part of mental healing because some people might be desperate due  to the pandemic.

“Art cannot be stopped by the pandemic but it can psychologically stop the pandemic, it is just a matter of how artists are portraying (marketing) their art or performances.  In this pandemic I think visuals (videos) are the best,” he said.
