Speaking to the media this morning, the organizers said that they opted to bring in the comedian as he has a huge Namibian fan base as well as to celebrate Namibian creatives.
“Through our event of celebrating local talent, we also want to give him a Namibian experience and at the same time introduce him to his Namibian fans. He is excited to come for the awards and so are we,” said Helena Ngaifiwa.
Lasizwe is a South African internet sensation and reality TV show star. Lasizwe who recently hit 100 000 subscribers is known for his hilarious YouTube videos that interpret life situations as they are.
