The queen of hip hop finally released her highly anticipated music video of her latest project Last Night.

One of Namibia’s top emerging artist and fashion icon Lioness is back with a new single Last Night. The song arrives as fans eagerly await her highly anticipated EP. Last Night’s Afrodancehall infused sound is indeed a hit.

“This has a unique sound and it blends in with my style, the fans will most definitely love it. The first time I performed LAST NIGHT the energy from the crowd got to me and I knew it should be my next single. I just want to make the crowd move and enjoy my presence,” says Lioness.

After the recent release of her much-awaited debut album Pride of Cilq, Lioness has turned into a household name within Namibia and other neighboring countries such as Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Her quick rise to fame gained her recognition by Coke Studio Africa making her the first Namibian hip hop artist to perform at Coke Studio in Nairobi Kenya. Lioness also featured on a single released by Coke Studio Africa featuring well-established artists Boity Thulo from South Africa and Nazizi from Kenya.

This venture lead to Lioness working under guidance and mentorship from established names such as Diplo, BBC 1xtra’s’S DJ Edu, Julz and Mr. Eazi.

Her background in classical ballet, contemporary dance, has made Lioness a fans favourite to watch during live performances. Thus, allowing her to consistently perform in and around her country and subsequently lead to her touring Kenya at the Coke Studio Africa, Ghana, United Kingdom, and South Africa. Sharing stages with established names such as Nasty-C, Davido, Kwesta, Boity, and winning hearts by her eclectic performances. Not only has her rise to stardom opened doors for her within Africa. It has nurtured her love for empowering young women and mentoring young students within her country.

Lioness is a fierce, hungry and refreshing artist who intends to export her style, fashion, sound, and music to the rest of the world.
