Award winning model, Leena Shiptwata speaks to unwrap.online regarding the fashion industry during day three of Windhoek Fashion Week 2019.
Leena Shipwata was one of the models who walked for Ingo Shanyenge’s solo show on Day 3 of WFW. unwrap.online had the opportunity to get hold of her and chat about the fashion industry and modellingg for the private showcase hosted at Experience.

“I loved the professionalism and how models where treated, the entire set up of Ingo’s show was beautiful and I’m forever proud to be part of it,” said Leena Shipwata.
Leena Shipwata was awarded Female Model of the Year at the Simply You Lifestyle and Fashion Awards recently and as a titleholder, she has a whole lot of work to put in as a model. unwrap.online asked Leena Shipwata if she sees any growth within the fashion Industry in Namibia as she has been part of it for the longest she said:
“Let’s start with WFW having to compare it with when it started in 2016, to be honest, the is change models well treated, organisation of the event is amazing and we making use of our own models regarding you capabilities and inabilities, it shows growth,” said Leena Shipwata.
For a model who has been inspiring others, she encourages upcoming models to go for their dreams regarding your capabilities and inabilities. Challenges my come but one should never give up.
