Lineekela Hashiyana is the fifth Namibian model to be representing Namibia at the Miss Heritage Global pageant.
From being a top 30 Miss Namibia finalist 2019 to becoming an international model, the 23 year old education student all the way from the north is preparing herself for Accra, Ghana where she will be partaking in a pageant that celebrates the world’s heritage using the tool of beauty and modeling with the aim of creating ambassadors both for their home countries and internationally. Initially, renowned model Christiana Gure was supposed to be the contestant however due to unforeseen circumstances she will not be able to, making Lineekela her replacement. This makes Lineekela is the third model under the directorship of pageant director Bobby Kanjosa to go represent Namibia internationally.

Speaking to the model, Lineekela says she is very excited to have been granted the opportunity but a little bit nervous at the same time, as she was only appointed recently to go represent Namibia in Ghana with the pageant taking place in less than three weeks. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been preparing herself thoroughly, because Lineekela has devoted a couple of hours in her day to practice for the pageant. Having the love and support from family and friends as well as the best team with her, her thoughts for the are pageant are highly positive.

Regarding support from the nation, Lineekela says that Namibians should continue rooting for their beauty queens and asks the nation to be behind her in this journey.
“I believe the is no other support that can equal that of home” says Lineekela.
