Little Carino debutes career with Hear Me

By Pricilla Mukokobi

There is a new kid on the block, literally and she just wants to be heard!

The adage, age is nothing but a number is true to its meaning when it comes to eight-year-old aspiring singer, Carino Shiguedha.

While many of her age are busy with alphabets, she has launched a music career that could spell a bright future for her, given more vocal skills, experience and coaching.

According to Carino’s father, Bomba Shiguedha the Hear Me songster not only sings but has other talents too.

“She dances a lot, she loves watching YouTube, she is very outspoken and is the leader in our house,” he said.

He added that Carino’s song featuring Top Cheri is doing well on the Donlu charts as well as social media with children doing a dance challenge to the song. He concluded saying that support has been key to his daughter since the launch of her music career.

“Yes she is a child and yes she’s living her childhood dreams,” he said.
