Local MAYnia on One Africa TV

One Africa TV celebrates concluding agreements with independent content producers for 7 local shows airing this May on One Africa TV .

“Since my start at One Africa TV it has been and will always be my mission to bring
more local content to Namibian viewers. Since 2016 we’ve increased our Namibian
locally produced shows from 2% to 40%. One Africa TV recently partnered with 7 external, independent local producers and is broadcasting 7 new locally produced Namibian shows to be broadcasted in this month of May,” said Taleni Shimhopileni, Content Executive and Director of One Africa TV.

Shimhopileni further added that the 7 locally produced shows are not necessarily
the only local shows airing on One Africa TV, but are the ones currently playing in the
month of May beyond the inhouse productions and other relevant external
broadcast titles.

“We have been building and continue to build relationships with local content
creators and so it is exciting to say that there is more and will be more local content
to come on One Africa TV.”
