Swartbooi who started her modelling career in 2016, walking the WFW (Windhoek Fashion Week) 2017/2018 for designers like Foxy Ginnah, RIA NAMIBIA by Maria Nepembe and Hilly June just to name a few takes the jewelry industry by introducing her range of ear pieces ‡Nu/Goa .

‡Nu/Goa is a Damara/Nama word which means the Black Child. She explains that ‡nu/goa forms a united force for the unheard majority to the superior majority in order to make them aware of what really matters in life.

Her set of funky earrings or rather jewellery caters for all genders (unisex) making it available for both male and female which is a easier target for her in the niche market plus it can expand its market base.In all realms of design, we can see how gender neutrality is taking over even though it is not widespread yet, but seems like it will be in years to come.

Now the ever-so-stylish model as seen on her Instagram posts, designs plus makes her own jewellery from little things like buttons which portrays the pure uniqueness of art and creativity in forms of earrings. After launching her amazing ear pieces, people where really attracted by the uniqueness and how cool the earrings look and couldn’t wait to have themselves a pair of it, mind you they are indeed affordable.

If you ever wondered how it’s possible for a model to make her own jewellery listen, in life you can do, become anything and anyone you want to be like the Johanna said ” Don’t doubt the power of your gift, all you have to do is be you and you’ll have wealth and peace”.
