The latest to join the blue tick gang is none other than internationally renowned runway queen Meriam Kuxuwena. The super excited for this achievement queen took to her Instagram page with screenshots of messages from Instagram, updating the news to her fans. The zealous model who often makes fun of her ex-boyfriends shared the news with the caption:
OMG, I just got verified on Instagram right now. I think my ex-boyfriend will be happy if he hears this news.
The model’s fans and fellow celebrities immediately jumped on the congratulatory train, wishing MK nothing but the best. Other Namibians who are part of the verified club include Dillish Mathews and Gazza.
The verification badge simply means that Instagram has confirmed that the account is authentic and that it belongs to a public figure or celebrity as they have high chances of being impersonated.
