Miss plus size Namibia to be crowned tomorrow

Tomorrow the fairest and curviest of them all will walk away with the title Miss Plus Size Namibia 2019.

Miss Plus size Namibia will take place tomorrow at the Kovambo Hall, Khomas regional council. This pageant is organized to love and appreciate our beautiful big women as well as to boost their self-confidence. With the theme of this year being women empowerment, you’d be of witness to 14 beautiful women walking the stage and only one will be crowned the overall winner. As the only pageant for big curvy women in Namibia, Miss Plus Size takes pride in the contribution of educating, emancipating and uplifting women.

Unwrap.online had the opportunity to talk to Margo one of the organizers who stated that the main focus of the beauty pageant is to eliminate body shaming and the associated psychological effects of body shaming in our society. Margo also shared that at the grand finale, they are looking forward to crowning the best beauty queen who is elegant, well versed and graceful, someone capable of breeding self-confidence in others, with the ability to inspire people to work together as a team to stretch for common objectives.
