It’s Game On with a special sports movie channel in February and March
In 2018, DStv channel 109 became the home of several not-to-be-missed curate television events, including some sizzling themed movie pop-up channels. Now, M-Net Movies has announced that there will be more to come in the New Year.
The 2019 M-Net Movies pop-up offering kicks off with the best and most iconic sports movies and documentaries of all time. For just over three weeks, from Friday 22 February until 10 March 2019, speed, cunning, strength, grace and grit will be on display in abundance from sports heroes, real and invented, on a pop-up channel titled M-Net Movies Game On. Absorbing tales of victory and defeat, battles won against all odds in trying circumstances, and dreams of glory, shattered or fulfilled, play out in the boxing ring, on basketball courts, athletics tracks and every other arena where blood, sweat and tears flow freely.

In 2018, M-Net Movies hit bulls eyes with a range of pop-up channels such as M-Net Movies Oscars, built around Oscar Award-winning an Oscar-nominated movies; M-Net Movies Marvel Studios, and M-Net Movies DC Comics, both of which put fictional superheroes in your living room, and action-packed shoot-’em-ups in M-Net Movies Big Bang Heroes channel.
