The upcoming MTC Windhoek Fashion Week which is set to take place between 1 and 5 November at Maerua Mall in Windhoek is almost upon us with local and international designers ready to showcase their best work.
According to the MTCWFW director Kalistu Mukoroli preparations for the event are going according to plan. The week is set to start with a welcoming party on Tuesday evening with Wednesday 2 November being the official Fashion Pitch Night. On Thursday evening a Fashion Meets Mysic mixer will come to pass with Friday and Saturday being the main days for the runway shows.
“We are pushing the narrative and focusing on being sustainably Namibian and advocating for collaboration amongst local creatives. There are many exciting things at that we looking forward to and also more networking sessions between other creatives so the narrative for being sustainably Namibian is definitely shaping up,” he said.

Designers include students from the College of the Arts as well as the likes if Luis Munana Lualbany, J.Class, Lulama and Lupita, JUSTELLEN, KARNATION, Urban Glam Designs, Maison Sibolile and many more other designers.
